1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are currently hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at ALDI. As part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and participating in inventory counts. Successful candidates will collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrate conscientious behavior, and drive for success in achieving warehouse goals.

Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Demonstrates conscientious, collaborative, positive, resilient, and success-driven behavior.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Handle various warehouse tasks in differing temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
