Salary: $17.00 per hour
As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's smooth operation, enhancing the shopping experience for customers, and providing exceptional customer service. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and maintaining cleanliness, you will be an integral part of the store team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and M.A.P.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandising displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operational knowledge of a cash register and equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A mix of education and experience equivalent is acceptable.
