Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's smooth operation and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will enhance the shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
  • Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow company guidelines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to multitask

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Combination of education and relevant experience
