Job Description
As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's smooth operation and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will enhance the shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
- Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and follow company guidelines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to multitask
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Combination of education and relevant experience
