Job Description
Flexential is seeking a driven and experienced Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive specialized in the colocation sector, you will be responsible for presenting and selling Flexential's colocation products and services to prospective customers within designated data centers. Your role will involve prospecting, qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, negotiating, and closing deals. Additionally, you will provide valuable insights on customer needs and market trends to contribute to the company's business strategy.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Promote Flexential's colocation offerings to potential clients.
- Generate leads and foster new sales within targeted regions.
- Maintain sales activity to meet forecasted pipeline demands.
- Achieve monthly sales quotas.
- Lead the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts throughout the sales process.
- Utilize Salesforce.com to manage and document sales opportunities.
- Manage the contracting process for Flexential Master Service Agreements.
- Conduct meetings with business prospects.
- Establish and nurture relationships with networking partners.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Sales Leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales management with C-suite and departmental level staff.
- A track record of success in team selling with Subject Matter Experts.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com for end-to-end sales management.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to evolving market dynamics.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management software.
- Positive and resilient attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.

Base Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually. Actual pay varies based on experience and qualifications.
Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus tied to personal and company performance.
