Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

We are hiring a Data Center Operations Technician I at Flexential, a market-based position responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, PC troubleshooting, and management applications. As a Data Center Operations Technician I, you will represent Flexential professionally and technically, ensuring timely resolution and escalation of issues.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Provide resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Maintain professionalism and conduct during data center duties.
• Troubleshoot and document technical issues using Flexential ticketing system.
• Follow Support and Data Center policies, processes, and procedures.
• Assist with physical and logical installations of services.
• Maintain Data Center cleanliness and perform Facilities Rounds.
• Manage badge access security system and support 24/7 operations.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for customer experience.
• Understanding of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• 1 year of IT Support environment experience preferred.
• AA, BS, or High School Diploma.

Preferred Qualifications

• Physical ability to climb ladders, work aloft, and lift heavy objects.
• Experience with Network +, Security +, CCNA, Microsoft MCP, or MCSA desired.
