Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Dining Services Executive Chef to join our team at Charter Senior Living of Northpark Place. As the Dining Service Director/Executive Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, customer service, and productivity within the Dining Services Department. Your role involves overseeing food service programs, supervising staff, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, promote, and supervise a food service program exceeding quality standards.
- Monitor resident preferences and create menus accordingly.
- Order food and supplies within budget constraints.
- Recruit, train, and supervise dining staff.
- Ensure compliance with health department, safety, and infection control practices.
Requirements
- Serve Safe Certification (if necessary per state regulations).
- Familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population.
- Proficiency in English and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Passing a background check prior to employment.
