LEAD MRT CLINICIAN

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Clinician to join our Mobile Response Team (MRT) at iMind Health LLC. As a Lead Clinician, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate crisis assessment and intervention for individuals experiencing mental health crises. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to offer support services, promote treatment, and prevent unnecessary involvement in the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mental health crisis calls and conduct on-site crisis assessments and interventions.
• Refer clients to appropriate services and support programs based on thorough assessments of their needs.
• Connect clients to vital support services like employment, education, and economic benefit programs.
• Provide harm reduction options and promote treatment while working to divert clients from the criminal justice system.
• Lead a team of peer support staff and ensure adherence to the MRT mission.
• Deliver de-escalation techniques and clinical interventions to clients in crisis situations.
• Communicate effectively with law enforcement, hospital staff, and other professionals to address clients' needs.
• Document all client interactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Maryland State license required (LCPC or LCSW-C).
• 2 years of experience in crisis intervention or a related field.
• 3-5 years of management experience.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for mental health conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year.
