Job Description

The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking Licensed Nurse Assistants (LNAs) for the new Shep 3 North unit. This long-term, alternative care unit will cater to 18-20 patients with diverse diagnoses. LNAs will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing direct and indirect patient care, including vital sign monitoring, assistance with personal care, and Electronic Medical Record documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Take vital signs and respond to call lights.
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, mouth care, toileting, and skin care.
  • Ensure accurate Electronic Medical Record documentation.
  • Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, compassion, and empathy.
  • Promote teamwork and focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) certification in the State of Vermont.
  • Preferred experience in Long Term Care.
  • Strong time management skills essential for fast-paced environments.
