Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician Generalist to join Mayroad's team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential properties and various assets, ensuring their optimal condition and appearance. From structural repairs to plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards across our communities.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on various properties and amenities within Mayroad communities.
- Respond promptly to emergency, urgent, and routine work orders while delivering excellent customer service.
- Conduct inspections to identify maintenance issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring everything is in good working order.
- Enhance building appearance through painting, repairs, and updates.
- Ensure safety by identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; relevant experience may substitute the education requirement.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential maintenance with skills in carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical work.
- Ability to obtain HVAC/Steam certification within 12 months of hire.
- Detail-oriented, safety-minded, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
Work Environment
This role involves working in residential environments, using personal protective equipment, and facing various physical demands. The job may entail exposure to different hazards and conditions typical of maintenance work.
