Key Responsibilities

  • Rebuild pump ends and conduct light diesel engine repairs.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and servicing on fleet equipment.
  • Offer on-site repairs and services at customer locations.
  • Conduct initial inspections of equipment, create repair lists, and obtain approvals for servicing.
  • Test and ensure proper operation of repaired equipment.
  • Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, and pump issues.
  • Assist with system setup at customer job sites and respond to after-hours service calls.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience or educational background.
  • Basic hand tools and preferably equipment rental experience.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
  • Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of equipment repair, maintenance methods, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and work with diesel engines.
  • Proficiency in DC electric, circuit testing, and safety practices.

Abilities and Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow directions.
  • Clear communication skills and safe operation of tools and equipment.
  • Physical capabilities for lifting, bending, and standing on concrete floors.

Working Conditions

Mix of indoor and outdoor work with exposure to varying weather conditions and manufacturing environments. Expect extended work hours when needed.
