Job Description

The Pearl at Dallas is looking to hire Med Techs to join their team. This role as a Med Tech / Certified Medication Aide involves monitoring residents' health and well-being, providing leadership support, assisting with resident care and services, and ensuring clinical quality assurance. Responsibilities include medication care assistance/administration, communication with resident support services and families, and maintaining wellness elements.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Resident Care:

• Identify ongoing needs and services of residents through assessment/Personalized Service Plan (PSP) process.
• Ensure proper follow-through and documentation for residents with changes in clinical care needs.
• Support the Wellness Nurse in completing clinical sections of monthly wellness visits and PSP.
• Inform the Wellness Director and/or Executive Director of any medication or service level changes.
• Assist in obtaining weights and vital signs monthly for each resident.
• Provide resident care assistance as needed.

Requirements

Education/Experience/Licensure-Certification:

• Must be a certified Medication Aide or meet state requirements for a medication aide.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge and experience in the Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and evenings.
