Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at University Gastroenterology LLC in Providence, RI. As part of our dynamic practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians, managing inpatient and outpatient services, and ensuring the overall well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality care while adhering to practice policies and safety regulations.
• Facilitate new patient consultations, review health histories, diagnose conditions, and monitor changes in patient health.
• Recommend treatment options, conduct procedures, and manage medical care plans independently and collaboratively.
• Coordinate inpatient endoscopic procedures and interpret test results.
• Administer medications, provide referrals, and offer ongoing support to patients and families.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in both office and hospital settings.
• Proficiency in EHR systems with experience in Lifespan Epic preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
