Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician-1 to join our team at MUSC. As a Patient Access Services Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate registration and billing processes for both inpatient and outpatient services. This position involves verifying patient accounts, processing payments, assisting with financial arrangements, and addressing billing inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate accurate and timely completion of patient registrations.
• Verify insurance and payment information for patients.
• Assist patients with payment arrangements and assistance programs.
• Collect copayments and deductibles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 0-6 months of work experience.
• Certification as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
