Student Radiology Tech Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Student Radiology Tech Assistant to join our team at MUSC. In this role, you will assist with imaging exams, perform diagnostic procedures, maintain records, and ensure high-quality service delivery. As a student in an accredited Radiology program, you will play a vital role in patient care and support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various diagnostic procedures and minor surgeries.
• Prepare examination rooms and supplies for patient procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging exams.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work environment.
• Follow proper protocols for equipment operation and patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an active Radiology Technologist program.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
