1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to uphold warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation, reporting any issues to management.
• Operate equipment safely and follow company procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate concern for product quality and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift objects up to 45 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
