Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join Aldi's team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, coordinating merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and supporting inventory management activities. This position requires attention to detail, agility in handling products, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise as per product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
- Support warehouse management in process improvements and goal achievement.
- Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
- Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company procedures.
Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Demands
- Lift and move products up to 45 pounds at varying heights.
- Engage in physical activities like bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely and appropriately.
- Work in diverse temperature conditions, including outdoor and refrigerated environments.
