1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in receiving and organizing incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to optimizing processes. If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse based on product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and inform management of any concerns.
• Act independently within assigned responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budget goals.
• Follow ergonomic and safety procedures.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Conscientious, collaborative, positive attitude, drives for success, and organizes with efficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds, operate industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
