1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our growing team at Aldi. As part of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving and handling products to ensure their timely delivery to our stores. This position offers the opportunity to work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Handle merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Prepare products for shipment and assist in unloading incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory management and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide feedback for process improvement and assist in achieving warehouse goals.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Capacity to operate powered industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
