1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse operations at Aldi. Our warehouse employees play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. This position offers on-the-job training, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in both ambient and temperature-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse as per handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment accurately.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and achieve goals.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Follow ergonomic and safety procedures while operating equipment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, good communication skills, attention to detail, and basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically fit to lift and move products, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
