1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join the dynamic team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. This role requires physical agility and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious, collaborative, positive, resilient, and driven behaviors.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
