1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the Aldi team. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $19.00 - $23.00 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving, relocating, sorting, and organizing merchandise in the warehouse to fulfill orders efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
• Inspect product quality and address any safety or sanitation concerns.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently following company procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate concern for product quality, safety, and collaborate effectively with the team.
• Adapt positively to challenges, drive for success, and maintain efficiency in warehouse operations.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or within a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Stand, bend, reach, and perform various physical tasks in warehouse environments.
