1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. Working in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, you will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, from stock selection and merchandise relocation to general cleaning and inventory counts.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Cooperate with peers and leadership, providing input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues to management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and perform physical tasks.
