1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders from stores, handling merchandise, maintaining warehouse standards, and participating in inventory counts. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve processes and achieve budgeted goals.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
