Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in efficiently receiving, sorting, and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and assist in meeting budget goals.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 for employment at Aldi.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes and work efficiently.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical movements.
