1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving and relocating stock, preparing shipments, maintaining cleanliness, and participating in inventory counts.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Conduct general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and escalate any issues.
• Operate equipment safely and report any safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, and resilience.
• Organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.
• Flexible to work in varying temperatures and physical demands.
