1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and energetic 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a critical member of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and select incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse following handling guidelines.
• Organize and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards through general cleaning duties.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect products, report quality issues, and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Operate equipment safely and follow company procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
