1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at ALDI. This full-time position offers a starting wage of up to $22.75 per hour (based on shift and schedule differential pay) with an average of 30-35 hours per week. As a Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders received from stores, ensuring merchandise is strategically organized for shipment, and maintaining warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to uphold warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input to improve processes.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to achieve goals.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle product weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
