1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a critical role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, fulfilling orders, organizing merchandise, and maintaining inventory.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and report issues.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrated teamwork and cooperation skills.
• Positive attitude and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
• Drive for success and efficiency in task execution.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication and basic math skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift products up to 45 pounds and move merchandise in the warehouse.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in various temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
