Job Description

We are currently seeking 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join the dynamic team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders, organizing merchandise, and ensuring warehouse standards and safety requirements are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and participate in inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and leadership to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety standards.
• Operate equipment safely and report issues.
• Assist in achieving warehouse goals within company policies.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered equipment.
• Work in various temperature environments.
• Stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse.
