1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The 1st shift starts at 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.
• Operate equipment safely and follow company procedures.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older to work at Aldi.
• Strong ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficient organization and execution skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
