1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's warehouse operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. Our warehouse employees work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving thorough training to ensure success.

Starting Wage

$23.75 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock effectively to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team and management.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and follow safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older. Competencies include conscientious work, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, work in varying temperatures, operate industrial equipment.
