1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse standards to ensure smooth operations.

Shift: 1st Shift - 7:00 AM
Average Hours: 30-35 hours per week
Starting Wage: Up to $18.50 - $24.50 per hour (based on shift and schedule differential pay)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and follow warehouse procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform within ALDI Acts competencies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic arithmetic abilities and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate equipment safely.
