1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing shipments for delivery. The role involves working collaboratively with team members and warehouse leadership to maintain warehouse standards and achieve operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to upkeep warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and management.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Execute tasks accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older for employment at Aldi.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
