1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our dynamic team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. Our warehouse teams consist of dedicated individuals working in various areas and are equipped with a comprehensive training program to help them succeed.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leaders.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.
