1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. You will work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, contributing to maintaining our high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Contribute ideas for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Independently inspect product quality and report any issues.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work conscientiously, collaborate with the team, maintain a positive attitude, strive for success, and execute tasks efficiently.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, including outdoor and refrigerated environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
