1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a part-time employee, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores efficiently. You will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including organizing stock, preparing shipments, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work both independently and collaboratively, and demonstrates a positive attitude towards achieving success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare products for delivery.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk throughout the warehouse.
