1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule. The role involves various schedules, such as Schedule D, Schedule A2, and Schedule B, each with different working days and off days.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input for process improvements and collaborate with the team.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, and drive for success.
• Efficiently organize and execute tasks according to company standards.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Movement of merchandise, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures.
