1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a warehouse stocker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring that our stores are well-prepared to serve our customers.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Assist warehouse management in achieving goals.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and operate equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures.
