1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a full-time team member, you will play a crucial role in receiving and organizing incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to inventory management. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment, follow safety guidelines, and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and report concerns to management.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and safely operate equipment.
