1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a key part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating with the team for optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and management for effective communication and operations.
• Provide feedback on process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Work independently within delegated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budget goals.
• Follow company policies and procedures accurately.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
