2nd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a warehouse associate, you will play a crucial role in receiving and organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining the warehouse's overall appearance and efficiency. You will collaborate with your peers and warehouse leadership to ensure smooth operations and contribute to achieving budgeted goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and suppliers.
• Provide input to improve processes and support warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and report sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic protocols.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
