Job Description
Title: 2nd Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor
Company: Aldi
Job Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 45 hours per week
Starting Salary: $85,000 per year
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establishes and modifies daily work schedules to meet warehouse needs.
- Coordinates job activities of direct reports on a daily basis.
- Oversees product receiving, selection, and shipping to stores.
- Monitors inbound and outbound deliveries for compliance.
- Develops action plans to improve operating results.
- Communicates job responsibilities and expectations to direct reports.
- Models company strategy and core values to create teamwork among employees.
- Collaborates with divisional operational areas and communicates relevant information.
- Provides input to Warehouse Operations Manager for operational improvements.
- Monitors service providers' performance and daily schedule changes.
- Addresses warehouse issues and escalates concerns to management.
- Leads warehouse team meetings, trains and develops direct reports.
- Supervises storage, safety compliance, and efficient operations.
- Monitors controllable expenses and ensures a safe working environment.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manages direct reports to comply with policies and procedures.
- Performs other assigned duties.
Job Qualifications:

- Excellent verbal and written communication, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, negotiation skills, attention to detail, and goal-oriented.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Work in varying temperatures, frequently lift up to 45 pounds.
- Continuous standing and frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and walking.
