2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our growing team at Aldi. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $25.75 per hour. Our warehouse team plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the demands of our customers. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas and receive thorough training to succeed in your role.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Clean and maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues and leadership.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
• Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues.

Job Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must be 18 years or older and demonstrate qualities such as conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency. Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions are essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Physical Requirements

This role involves lifting up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, and working in varied temperatures. You should be able to operate powered industrial equipment safely and effectively.
