ABF Freight, part of ArcBest, a leading LTL carrier, is seeking Operations Supervisors nationally to join our team. We are looking for individuals with exceptional talent and dedication to serve our customers by providing customized transportation and logistics solutions.

General Description of Duties:

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment fostering safe handling and storage of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve department goals.
• Support company values focused on creativity, integrity, collaboration, growth, excellence, and wellness.
• Handle other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: Previous service center or transportation experience, supervisory experience preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Other Requirements: General knowledge of freight handling techniques.
