Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for freight loading/unloading.
• Maintain proper load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, provide training, and monitor performances.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Collaborate in a team setting to achieve department goals.
• Support a values-driven culture focused on integrity, collaboration, and wellness.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, along with transportation experience.
• Supervisory experience and knowledge of freight handling techniques desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight operations.
