Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a critical role in managing day-to-day store activities, supervising the team, implementing action plans for operational improvements, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for maintaining store performance, managing schedules, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback.
  • Participate in the hiring process and employee training.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory procedures and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and product display standards.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in retail, with management experience preferred.
