Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store operations, manage schedules, develop action plans, and identify training opportunities to enhance team performance. Your responsibilities will include establishing job responsibilities, monitoring the competitive environment, providing product feedback, and ensuring customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store performance.
  • Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide product feedback and recommendations.
  • Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise team members and escalate issues when necessary.

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Prior management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in retail.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
