Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and identifying training opportunities. You will work closely with the store manager to ensure overall store performance and team growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide product feedback.
  • Maintain inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Ensure store cleanliness standards and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Prior retail experience and management experience preferred.
