Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in supervising day-to-day store activities, manage schedules, and develop operational plans to enhance store performance. Your responsibilities will include identifying training opportunities to foster team growth and coordinating with the leadership team to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to improve store performance.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback to the leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with inventory procedures and cash control policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness and appropriate stock levels.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and lead a team effectively.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Operate a cash register and store equipment efficiently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
