Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join Aldi's team. In this role, you will assist with supervising daily store activities, managing schedules, and implementing operational plans to enhance store performance. Your focus will be on team development and creating a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the direct leader to enhance operating results and team performance.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities and promote a sense of teamwork among employees.
• Provide product feedback, participate in the interviewing process, and monitor the competitive environment.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and customer service meet company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, proper stock levels, and merchandising standards in the store.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of retail experience, with prior management experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and lead a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret company policies.
• Capability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
